Mirror lighting or vanity lighting in your bathroom is very important. Everyone has walked into that particular area of bathroom where lighting makes them look pale or greenish. This happens because of the shadowed light. When choosing lighting fixtures for your bathroom you should keep your main focus on choosing fixtures that will give you un-shadowed light. This way, it will become possible for you to look best outside the bathroom as well. Choose those fixtures that have clearer lens or shade. I am so ready to update my kitchen cabinets to possibly an antique walnut from the light maple finish that has been the same for over 15 years. I have beautiful cabinetry, it is in terrific shape, the pale country look just doesn’t work with the darker hickory in the rest of the house. I know many are going with white or java coloration. Neither fit for me . I’d like to follow your tips and try warming up the cabinets with a dark walnut or dark mahogany with a brown glaze. I am interested in using gel stain with a glaze over it. Any suggestions from anyone who could guide me also I would appreciate the additional tutorials since I have many upper and lower cabinetry to transform. Anyone step out of the comfort zone of white, creme, or java? I could use some input before I finish putting my project in motion. Anyone ? And thanks in advance by someone ready to kick this out on my own!
